Here are the Mechanical Bosses, what you need to craft their summoning item, and a bit of info about the items you can craft from defeating them. For in-depth strategies, please visit each Boss's Guide. Know that two out of three of these fights are much easier to accomplish if your character can fly, so getting wings should be a priority. I'm listing the three bosses in order from easiest to hardest from my perspective on my first playthrough. To make a mythril anvil, you need to have 10 mythril bars in your inventory (made from 40 mythril at a furnace).then, stand next to an iron or lead anvil and you will be able to craft it When there are air blocks below an anvil, the anvil falls in the same way sand, gravel, concrete powder, and dragon eggs fall. Every one of these got me on the first try, but I later geared up and crafted the summoning items to take them out in order to unlock Plantera, which was much easier than The Twins thanks to a carefully prepared Arena and Hallowed gear. Being able to fly during a boss fight is invaluable. Also, the more demon altars you smash, the more hardmode ores youll find, so that might help as well. Just run around on Hells ceiling and look for ores that way. You can only get 3 of these and is gonna be with that same progression, the Oricalchum and mythril are just. Stand next to a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil and craft it. To do this, you require 30 Adamantite or Titanium Ore and a Hellforge. Mythril: Mythril Bar (x15) Orichalcum: Orichalcum Bar (x18) To craft the following, you will need to make a Titanium or Adamantite Forge. Cobalt and Paladium, Oricalchum and mythril, titanium and adamantine. Pickaxes Crafted at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. Whether you or the boss is on the run, you can deal at least a little damage.Įach of the bosses has a small chance to appear each night as soon as you're in Hard Mode, though Blood Moons are much more likely to occur. I havent played hardmode yet, but Ive heard that going down to Hell and then downing a Gravitation Potion can lead to some easy hardmode ore finds. Probably someone already said this but, there are 6 types of hard mode materials that can appear breaking the corruption or crimson things. The items can be crafted using an Orichalcum/Mythril Anvil and all materials should be fairly easy to gather if you've explored your world. Use them at the beginning of nightfall and you can take the whole night to bring them down. Be forewarned that a loss will result in the Boss despawning and you'll need to try again. You can also summon them as many times as you like, so long as you farm the required materials for summoning items. If not, you're missing out on some powerful buffs that can greatly impact your hero's performance in combat.
